Edward Burne-Jones and the Pre-Raphaelite Legacy Alan Read Thursday 14 November 2019

This lecture examines the life and career of Burne-Jones, his collaboration with William Morris and his creation of beautiful stained glass windows.  Alan argues that Burne-Jones should be recognised as the herald of the Aesthetic Movement and Symbolism, which dominated European Art at the end of the 19th century.
